So it’s that time of year when we make our annual visit to the 1st Barnt Green Scouts and Guides Bonfire and Fireworks spectacular. As this was a family occasion I left the big camera at home taking the trusty Fuji X30 compact with me. With no tripod and challenging conditions I wasn’t sure what results I’d get but yet again this camera amazed me with the quality of images it produces.
The bonfire was an amazing success and I’m pretty sure had the highest attendance I’ve seen in the several years we’ve been going.
Beer was quaffed, cake was munched and lots of oohs and ahhhs were uttered at the spectacular fireworks.
Another amazing success, with the financial stability of the scouts, guides, cubs, brownies, beavers and rainbows secured for another year. As a parent I can’t help but praise the work all the leaders and volunteers do which brings so much fun and adventure for loads of local youngsters, my son included.
Thanks again for all the work you do!
